This month at Books & Brews, we are diving into Richard Yates’ classic novel Revolutionary Road.

Set in the suburbs of the 1950s, it is a sharp, sad, brutally honest look at marriage, ambition, disappointment and the quiet panic of realizing your life may not look the way you once imagined it would. It is funny in places, heartbreaking in others and still feels remarkably modern all these years later.
