Some holiday traditions sneak up on you.
You do something once, everybody has a hell of a time, so you do it again. And again. And somewhere along the way you realize, “well, I guess this is just part of Christmas now.”
That’s Mike Petrone at Speak of the Devil.
Cleveland’s own “Piano Man” has become as much a part of the holidays around here as our Nog & Glögg, and we honestly can’t imagine the season without him anymore.
Mike settles in at the piano, the drinks start flowing, and before long the whole damn bar is singing along. Christmas songs, old favorites, requests, probably a few things that have absolutely nothing to do with Christmas—and by the end of the night, any distinction between Mike and the audience has pretty much disappeared.
It’s loud. It’s warm. It’s wonderfully ridiculous.
And it is so much fun.
So gather up some friends, grab a holiday drink and come sing your fool head off with us.
A whole bunch of holiday cheer, a whole bunch of singalongs, and one of our absolute favorite nights of the year.
Yeah. Christmas is getting close.
