If you’ve spent any amount of time around the Northeast Ohio music scene, chances are you’ve seen Ray somewhere—even if you didn’t realize it at the time.

He’s one of those musicians who seems to have played with damn near everybody. A ridiculously gifted guitarist with that rare ability to step into just about any kind of music, listen, find his place and make the whole thing better.

But here’s the thing about Ray:

As good as he is with a guitar—and he’s really fucking good—the songs are the superpower.

Smart, beautifully crafted, no-bullshit songwriting delivered with the easy confidence of somebody who’s spent years doing the work. No unnecessary flash. Nothing to prove. Just a great musician, a pile of great songs and whatever happens once he settles into the room.

We’ve been lucky enough to have Ray playing our little bar for a few times now, and these nights always feel a little special.
